Directions to Los Alamos from Malaga
From Malaga. Leave the airport and follow the signs for Cadiz N 340. This is a dual carriage way. After about 3 Kms turn right toward Algeciras. This is the Autovia del Mediteranian, a main road that will take you to within a few miles of Los Canos de Meca and San Ambrosio. Note that this road currently has three toll booths each charging between 1.50 and 4 Euros. The journey will take approximately 2.5 hours depending on the traffic. You pass Marbella, Estepona, Gibraltar, Algeciras and Tarifa. Once you get close to the town of Vejer de la Frontera, you come on to a dual carriageway, immediately turn off to the right signposted Vejer and Los Caños. There are three roundabouts, follow signs to Los Caños de Meca. After about 8 KM there is a petrol station on your right and then a roundabout, turn left, the sea should now be on your right hand side. Follow the road for 4km until you arrive at the village of Los Caños de Meca. Go right through the village until you see a left hand turn, sign posted Barbate. Follow the road up the hill for approximately 3Km until you see a signpost for San Ambrosio, the road to San Ambrosio is on your left. Travel through the park for approx 2Km until the tarmac runs out. Turn left and then almost immediately right. You go over a cattle grid, travel for approximately 50m, then turn right, travel for approx 20 metres and go left down a track. Los Alamos is approximately 30 metres down on the left, turn in through a set of black gates.

Directions to Los Alamos from Gibraltar
From the border at Gibraltar head toward Cadiz N 340. After about 3 Kms the road goes up a steep hill and swings round to the left over the top of the main road to Algeciras and Cadiz. This is the N340 Autovia del Mediteranian, a main road that will take you to within a few miles of Los Canos de Meca. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours depending on the traffic. You travel past Algeciras and Tarifa and after about 1 hour 10 minutes you will see the hill top town of Vejer de la Frontera up above on your left. Stay on the road past the town and on to a dual carriageway, immediately turn off to the right signposted Vejer and Los Caños. There are three roundabouts, follow signs to Los Caños de Meca.
